RECENT HEADLINES

CAD RETEC - Society of Plastics Engineers Annual Technical Conference for Color & Appearance will be held October 18th-20th in Savannah, Georgia. Attending for McCullough will be David Roth, Industrial Technical Sales since 1996, and George McCullough, President and with the company since 1978. We have 3 suppliers who are sponsors of the event – EMD (Gold Sponsor), LANSCO (Platinum Sponsor), and LANXESS (Gold Sponsor). EMD is hosting the Opening Night Reception, LANXESS will have a hospitality suite during the event, and LANSCO is sponsoring a breakfast. Other suppliers who will have booths and are attending the conference are SILBERLINE, C. W. BRABENDER Instruments, and DATACOLOR.

NACD September OPSEM: Cleveland, OH, September 14-16th, 2009. Attending for our company was Diane Thomas Martin, RDP Coordinator and Distribution Manager. Also, Earl Tveit, Executive Vice President, as an At Large Board Member for NACD attended the Board Meeting during this conference. NACD has been a vital force in helping all members of the chemical industry to follow best/safe practices in every area from manufacturing, shipping, warehousing, and sales and distribution.

TERRITORY EXPANSION ANNOUNCEMENTS:

LANXESS has afforded McCullough & Associates the opportunity to expand our territory for sales of their pigments into Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma as of September 1st, 2009. We will be stocking product in the Dallas area. Also, EMD (effect pigments for industrial applications) and ISP (biocides) have allowed us to expand our base into Texas for their companies. We are excited to be "going west" and feel that our experience selling each of these lines will make the expansion successful for the customers, the vendors, and our company.

MICRO POWDERS has expanded our territory and given us Florida and Virginia to add to our existing coverage of NC, SC, GA, and AL. MICRO POWDERS is a leading supplier of micronized waxes and wax dispersions and we have represented them since 1994. Thank you!

McCullough & Associates receives Silver Award and Distributor of the Year 2008 for Cognis Care Chemicals! With the excellent internal support from all areas of the company, our Personal Care Sales group has surpassed Cognis' sales goals and expectations for 2008. The Personal Care Sales group is managed by Gary Rehe, with McCullough for 23 years, and is supported by Larry Nelson (5 years) in the northern part of the territory and Marty Wilner in Florida (7 years). We are extremely proud of this sales group for their accomplishments. Our business relationship with Cognis (Henkel) began 28 years ago and we are appreciative of the continuing strategic support provided by their entire sales and management team. The award was presented at the Cognis Distributor Council Meeting in Cincinnati in April.

ANTEC/NPE - June 22-24th in Chicago, IL. The ANTEC is the Annual Technical Meeting that runs concurrent with the NPE Show. George McCullough and Tim Rogeri will be attending this year.

Suppliers Day - May 12 -13th in Edison, NJ, is sponsored by the New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists. Attending the event every year for our company are Gary Rehe, Personal Care Sales Manager, and Earl Tveit, Executive Vice President. Larry Nelson, Technical Sales for NC, VA, and TN, and Martin Wilner, Technical Sales for Florida (all SCC members) will also be attending. The NY Chapter is the largest SCC Chapter and their Supplier's Day Event is well attended by customers and suppliers.

Southern Section of the NACD - Annual Meeting scheduled for May 4-7th at the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island, Grand Bahamas. At this time, we are not planning on attending this meeting, but do support the NACD vigorously in all of its programs.
Earl Tveit, as a Director at Large, attended the February 3-5th Board Meeting in Salt Lake City and will attend the Fly-In Meeting in Washington, DC April 29-30th. For more information on the NACD, go to the website at www.nacd.com.

Piedmont Section/Southern Society for Coatings Technology (SSCT) Annual Technical Meeting is April 15th in Greensboro, NC. The technical presentations are scheduled from 8-11am and 2-4pm and tabletops from 11-2pm. We will have a tabletop and attending will be George McCullough and James Self, Industrial Sales for NC, VA, and MD.

Southern Society for Coatings Technology (SSCT) Annual Meeting is March 15-18th at the King & Prince Resort on St. Simons Island, GA. The theme for the meeting is "On the Seas of Green Formulating." David Roth, current President of the SSCT and Earl Tveit will be representing our company for this meeting. For more information on the meeting visit the website at www.ssct.org. Our company is active in the local Atlanta Chapter of the SSCT and regularly attends the monthly meetings of the group.

South Pack Expo - March 11-12th in Charlotte, NC - The show highlights new innovations for product packaging and handling equipment. Materials Marketing Associates (MMA) Annual Meeting set for March 1-4th in Palm Desert, CA. George McCullough, President, attends and is on the Board since he was Past President of the organization. The MMA is made up of one independently owned and operated distributor selected from each geographical region of the country. Being industry focused and non-competitive, the group is able to discuss best practices, current issues, and offer support on an individual basis. McCullough & Associates has been a member for over 28 years.

International Food Technology (IFT) Expo - in Atlanta, GA, February 23rd - Attended by member Gary Rehe, Personal Care Sales Manager and David Roth, Industrial Sales for our company. We sell a number of products that are food grade and wanted to learn more about end use and new technology in the Food Industry - products available and customer base. Paint & Coatings Expo (PACE) in New Orleans - February 15-18th. The show was attended by David Roth, Industrial Sales. We are making every effort in 2009 to reach potential customers and are taking opportunities to meet them at all levels - not just in the manufacturing locations. Information was gained here on end users as well as new innovations in the field.

World of Concrete Show in Las Vegas, NV from February 2-5th. Attending for our company was Jeff Crawford who is our Industrial Sales Representative for Florida, Tim Rogeri, Industrial Sales in SC, TN, and N. GA, and George McCullough, President and Manager of Equipment Sales. We have attended the show for a number of years and find that it is one of the largest shows relating to our business. Customers especially like the location and attendance is above average. Several of our vendors attend and we had meetings with LanXess and Bayer Material Science while there. Also during the same time period the Surfaces Show was being held in Las Vegas. Tim Rogeri visited the show to see who was exhibiting and who was attending.
